    Hello,

Ive started my bootcamp partition with parallels desktop 5 (newest version).
After installing the Parallels Tools everything worked, except the audio drivers.

Actually windows should have some compatible drivers, but these are not found by windows. the device manager says "audio controller for multimedia", without driver.

I've googled a lot, but i have not found a solution.

Some wrote, that parallels has problems with the realtek drivers, but these seems to be automatically installed with the newest bootcamp update.
Nevertheless, i've uninstalled these drivers, and that does not solve my problem.

    I'm glad for every help!

Can no one say anything about my problem?

At the moment i am testing Parallels Desktop 5, and i find it really good (better speed in contrast to VmWare Fusion).

But when I hear no sound, the virtualisation ist quite unusable for me...

You could try manually installing the Realtek AC'97 drivers. You'll find them all over the web.
