Installed Ubuntu 9.04 and everything was working fine; However, decided that it made sense to upgrade to 9.10. After the upgrade completed I was unable to use the internet in the VM and as such can not download any new packages! Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated, as a relatively new to Linux.
Hi, this problem is fixed internally, but I'm not sure whether the fix is already available in some version Try to remove the file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-parallels (execute in terminal the command "sudo rm /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-parallels*") and then reboot the VirtualMachine
