I have both a Windows and Vista .pvm on a Mac Mini with a 120GB drive (there is nothing else on this computer...just the Mac OS files and Parallels). The problem is that the .pvm files have eaten up all the disk space and now they won't launch.

I have scoured the forum for answers. I have tried compressing the hard drive and deleting snapshots, but there has been no change. This has been a very tedious and frustrating experience. I realize now that doing a complete reinstall of both OS's would have taken less time than troubleshooting. That speaks pretty poorly about the quality of Parallels.

How can I fix this problem?

Peter, I am trying to do this same process but the only two options I get when using Image Tool and selecting the virtual hard disk are:

    - Increase the Disk Capacity
    - Manage the Disk Properties

There is no "Convert to the Old Format" or "Compact the disk".

    Can you please advise?
