Hi all, i've got the latest patched version of parallels 4 and windows 7 Pro 64 bit edition (unpatched). Install went fine, but networking isn't working for Windows, so I can't access the internet. I've changed the networking options to all three options, shared, host only, and bridged, and on the bridged option i've chosen ethernet as the connection type. Parallels is running on an imac 2.66ghz core 2 duo with 2gb of ram allocated to the virtual machine. The host machine connects to internet fine via cat 5 cable. Please help!

After looking at other threads, noticed that i needed to install parallels tools, surely this should have been installed with parallels in the first place? Anyway, problem fixed

    I do have a Windows 7 Ultimate x64 running here on a Parallels Desktop 4.0 (Build 4.0.3848).
The installation took place on the version before that. With this version, Parallels tools could not be installed - but network access was no problem.
With the latest release, the tools could be installed...

    Ciao
