I am using version 5 of the software and i cannot connect to the internet, I have checked the Port properties and it indicates an Ip address of 10.x.x.x

This system used to work Ok but now it is ttally useless to me, what has happened?

    Thanks

Please make sure that you are using Shared Networking. If this doesn't help, click Start -> Run and execute cmd.exe. Type in the appeared window command "ipconfig /all". Then, without closing the window, click Parallels Destkop menu "Help"->"Report a Problem", send a problem report (it is not necessary to provide description) and post here the report ID.

Very strange, what is the exact problem? There are no visible problems in the logs, are you able to conect to internet at Mac OS side?

Let me know via private message your email address, we'll create a support ticket.

OK, Things have moved on a little, I tired repairing the port which failed, then i reloaded Parallels and ever since then the Ethernet port has worked OK.

    Thanks for your assistance

    Hi,
The report shows, that DHCP is not enabled inside Windows. Please click Start -> Control Panel -> Network Connections, Right-click "Local Area Connection" ("Ethernetadapter LAN-Verbindung") -> "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) -> Properties

and choose "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS-server address automatically". This should help!
