I have 2 printers. I want to print to ether one of them from Windows or Snow Leopard. Now I have one set up for the Mac and one for Windows. Can they all work all the time automatically?

I'd say Yes. The default Parallels printer driver is an HP color laserjet 2800 ps. So, if you connect your printers on the Mac side, any Parallels print jobs will be routed thru the HP driver to the Mac, and from there they'll be sent to the Mac's default printer.

Printing in Mac without shutting down the VM

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8500 for my Mac (Snow Leopard). I'm able to print in both Windows and Mac , but when I'm in Windows and want to go back to the Mac, I have to shut down the virtual machine in order for the Mac to recognize the printer. Once the VM shuts down, the printer starts up right away and prints the Mac document. I can easily switch back and forth otherwise, so it seems there must be some way to print without having to shut down. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
