When I go to the device manager it shows that there are audio devices and they are working properly. When i try to update the drivers i'm told that i have the most current.
When i go to the control panel and click on the Sound icon, i can not adjust the volume as there are no audio devices installed. this is a direct contradiction of the device manager tab.
Has anyone else had a similar problem that they were able to fix?
    Thanks

    Hello WernerL,

you can try to uninstall and reinstall Parallels Tools.

This will reinstall the audio tools also which will get you sound in Windows.

    Thank you.

Exactly the same problem..."No Audio Device"

I have the exact same problem. Under the Hardware tab in "Virtual Machine Configuration" there isn't even a sound icon as shown in the help section. So...it appears Parallels is not finding my macs audio, rather than it being a Windows problem. Please advise...

    Hi forager,
please try to reinstall Parallels Tools in the following way: remove any entry of Parallels Tools from Add/Remove programs, restart Windows, install Parallels Tools from Virtual Machine menu and follow the installation wizard.
