Windows 7 Networking I just installed Parallels 5+Windows 7 ultimate on my Macbook Pro. Windows 7 keeps saying that it needs drivers for the network to connect. Any ideas as I cant connect to get the drivers. I'm using airport to connect and it works fine on the mac side but it wont connect on the win 7 side. I've tried doing all the things listed in the parallels help documentation re: configuring my network adapter using "bridging" , "shared networking", and "host only networking". I get the same error message with each configuration, telling me I need the device drivers. Any suggestions?
Hi EmilyH, please try to reinstall Parallels Tools: 1. remove any entry of Parallels Tools from Programs list 2. restart Windows 3. from Virtual Machine menu, select Install Parallels Tools option 4. restart Windows when prompted Please also check this KB article, which applies to version 5, too: http://kb.parallels.com/en/5664
