Mouse unusable in many applications, SmartMouse control not avaialble

I recently went back to Parallels for increased .Net and 3D performance.

Specifically the %&*%*!!! mouse is invisible!

I will clarify. I sue a Wacom mouse for 99% of my work, but I also have a Logitech mouse plugged in. Both work great in Mac OS.

When I assign the Logitech mouse to Parallels, it works perfectly as I want.. in 3d programs I can pan and rotate smoothly instead of like a diseased skipping leper when mac os is in control of the windows mouse. However the cursor is invisible... which makes it all but totally worthless.

I tried disabling Smart Mouse under services, but the option is greyed out, I cant turn it on or off and it is stuck on automatic.

It works how it should when parallel tools is uninstalled, but then I loose my shared folders and a range of other functions I need to work.

How do I turn Smart Mouse off? (see graphic)

I am running the latest Parallels release, fully updated snow leopard, and WinXP x64 with all service packs.

    Hi BearFlag,
please try disable SmartMouse when the Win XP virtual machine is stopped. Should be fine.
