I picked up a USB at the Parallels Booth at MacWorld SF last week. Loaded on it is Parallels Desktop for Mac Build 3110. The install takes a minute or so, and Parallels boots up, loads my VM, etc. Upon starting Build 3110, I see the initial WindowsXP start-up logo, and hear the few bars of MSFT music, but my console screen is black. I select "Install Parallels Tools" and the software tells me that Tools is installing, no dialog boxes appears as it did in my 1970 install. I figure I need to manually turn on video, so I stop my VM, go to config and select "enable video" and still the console is black. If I stretch the console in coherence mode, I can see a fine outline of a window inside of it, but that's all--no detail. So, I re-downloaded Build 1970 and am using that till I can figure this out. Has anyone encountered this problem? Do you know of a workaround? Advice appeciated.
