Install goes ok, but after 3 time logging in, I can no longer do so. I enter in the same credentials, click enter, the screen kind of flickers, and then I'm returned to the login screen. Anyone else have these problems ?

This has happened to me. If I had to guess, I'd say you tried to set a screen resolution, color depth, or refresh rate via one of the Gnome control panels. Once you try to log in, the X server is told to switch, and bails out since it doesn't think it can pull off the configuration.

Remember, just a guess based on what happened to me.

You can hit CTRL+ALT+F1 to switch to a text-only console and check your X server logs for the problem. This will also allow you to check your credentials since you'll have to log in. If it is the X server quitting on you, you can remove the configuration data from on of the gconf directories. The exact path escapes me at the moment, but let me know if you need help finding it.
