Why do I see a floppy drive?

    I've set my VM *not* to have a floppy drive (the floppy's not connected). Nevertheless the drive shows up in Windows. Why?

    Parallels 5 with Dec 21 update, Windows 7.

    hi,
    you should remove floppy from configuration (it is not a big deal, adding it back is just two clicks). Disabled floppy drive will still be visible in My Computer.
