Yesterday Windows XP updgraded to SP3 under Parallels and now I'm getting the following message when I try to log into XP. The product key is not valid for this media type. Please use the correct installation CD to reinstall Windows. Error Code: 0x80040509. Is there anyway to bypass this message without reinstalling the entire VM? How can I prevent this from happening again? Is it just best to shutoff the Windows automatic updates under Parallels?
I'm new to the forum and a potential multi-seat customer for PD5 for Mac. The fact that a basic question like this one has not been answered or even addressed after ten days gives me pause.
