Can't register PD after upgrade from 4 to 5

    Hi,
    Yesterday I bought PD 4 for Mac, activated and registered without any problem.
    Today ... PD 5 is out (LOL, I didn't know it was on the way) ... Tonight I receive the email to DL and install the free updgrade to PD 5.
    Installation works fine, PD 4 is deleted and PD 5 installs great.
    Then I activate PD 5 with the new key : ok. But when I try to register I get the following message (in french) :

    "Cette copie de Parallels Desktop ne peut pas être enregistrée car elle a été activée avec une clé de produit incorrecte. Veuillez contacter l'équipe d'assistance de Parallels pour recevoir de l'aide."

    which means

    "This copy of Paralles Desktop can't be registered has it has been activated with a wrong product key. Please contact the Parallels support team to get help"

    Any idea ???

    This point excepted, I'm very pleased with this release. Windows 7 runs fast and clean on my iMac 24" 2.8 / 4 GB and integration of Windows applications into OS X world is really impressive, speciallly with Mac Look and Crystal options on. I tried a comparaison with VMWare Fusion 3.0 trial about performances just for fun ... well ... that's not fun anymore ... uninstalled and deleted .. forever ;)

    Having the same problem here after this morning's upgrade so I've lodged a ticket with support ... will have to see what they say I guess. Apart from that the upgrade went OK ...

    I am also having the same problem. I get the same error. I have registered my serial with the site and that went through fine, but cannot register through the program.

    Having the same problem to. I get an error with the activation process of Parallels Desktop from 4 to 5. Hope that will be quickly fix.

    Also having the exact same problem, wont allow me to register after i upgraded from 4 to 5. Funnily enough i could register it manually under "My Registered Products" in My Account through the parallels website, yet i still get the error message once i launch parallels.

    Everything is ok now, thanks. I guess customer database have been updated ;)

    Yes, we have cured the issue. Registrations should work fine now.

    I bought Parallels 4 a few days ago also. How do I upgrade to 5? 4 was only out a couple weeks before 5 came out. What is up with that?

    This issue is not fixed, because I am having the SAME problem!

    Same problem, bought two weeks ago and I am still not able to register the product because it is not probably selecting the correct ethernet interface...and I am connected only with airport so this scenario is very simple!
    How is possible to solve it?
