Is Kaspersky running on my host or just the VM?

I created two virtual machines on which I installed XP and Windows 7 RC. I had no problem installing internet security on to XP, but what I want to know is it protecting my whole computer or just XP? I only see evidence of it running when I open XP and I don't see any way to install it on my host (MAC).

Thank you for any help you could give.

Parallels Internet Security (based on Kaspersky) does not protect neither your Mac nor other virtual machine (Windows 7 RC in your case), it protects only one OS, which it is installed to.
Each virtual machine is a separate environment and can affect each other or the host OS only through shared folders or by directly transferring infected files by other means. Actually, infecting Mac with Windows-based viruses is almost (if at all) impossible since these two OS are completely different.

What will happen if I try to run Bootcamp Windows XP Natively after installing Parallels Internet Security (based on Kaspersky) on a VM that has been created based on the Bootcamp partition ? Will it work ?
