I downloaded and successfully installed parallels desktop 5.0.
When I ran it and started up the virtual machine, a popup appears asking to connect to my idisk.
My mobileme username is entered and it asks for a password but when I enter the password, it fails to connect and the dialog box pops up again.
This happens over and over. If I cancel out the dialog box, it pops back up.
The only way to make it stop is if I force quit parallels.
There is no way to run the system.

I was able to solve this after hours on the phone with tech support failed to come up with a solution.

It turn out that the idisk that was attempting to mount was not from my primary mac account but rather from a secondary one that I have installed on the laptop. I had to enter the mobileme name for that account (I had to manually delete the name the Mac OS prompted me to enter and type in this other account) and then enter the password for that account and it worked.

It seems that Mac OS will keep entering the mobileme username of the account that is logged in at that time but that is not what idisk it was trying to mount. I have a family pack mobileme account so we have 4 userid's in total, all with accounts on my laptop.

    I hope this helps you.

Thanks- but my case is differnt. My idisk is the local replic and I´m the only user of the system. I can´t understand why I´ll be asked for a username and password - to find out if there is a mac Problem existing I downloaded the trial version of an other virtualization software - and - no errors neither popups.... I have now access to my local idisk without any questions.
