Using Bootcamp and Parallels?

    Hi all,

    I use Bootcamp and Parallels. Same image file. Is it ok to suspend/sleep in Parallels and resume in Bootcamp and vice versa?

    You probably meant hibernate, not suspend/sleep. The answer is no because the hardware that Windows sees in Parallels is totally different from physical Mac hardware (Bootcamp).

    So - shut down and restart is the thing to do... Always?
