I am trying to get a Bamboo Pen & touch to work with Autodesk Revit in Windows 7 on Parallels Desktop 5. Firstly I am wondering if anyone here has done this successfully? Did you install the Bamboo drivers in Windows, or just let PD pass the input thru? If the latter, how did you handle 3D navigation in Revit? Also, anyone seen problems with this combination blowing up mouse input on the mac side? After installing the Windows drivers and working for a bit, I set the Bamboo back to Mac use, and instead all inout was squirrely, mouse pointer jumping as I moused out of ANY application window, no way to even get to the Apple menu and shut down, as soon as I got close the pointer would jump back to mid screen. A reboot got me working right again, but not sure I want to even try using the Bamboo in the VM again. Thanks, Gordon
Hi, GordonP. To understand the roots of problem, we need some additional info from you. Please, do the following: - Run Parallels Desktop and start your virtual machine. - Connect your device to host - Reprodce situation which cause a difficulty - Go to menu "Help -> Report a Problem..." and follow instruction to create Problem Report - After this you will recieve ReportID - post this number here.
I've recently installed the Bamboo pen, too, on WIN7 Parallels Desktop. I cannot determine how to release the mouse to the pen. As it is now, when I use the Bamboo pen / touch, the mouse remains stationary and the pen is executed as a circle that is in constant "right-click." Any info on how to release the mouse to the pen / touch would be great. I've tried with both WIN7 and Bamboo pen drivers with the same result.
