Hi All It seems that with Parallels 5 I can no longer turn off the automatic USB connection. Specifically, every time now that I plug my IPhone in Parallels catches it first, then I have to manually disconnect it from Windows before the Mac can see it. What am I missing here? The configure window for the USB connector doesn't have an option to divert automatically to the Mac OS . . .
Hi, chrisschmidt. What connection mode do you use for usb devices? (You can check it throw menu Parallels Desktop -> Preferences -> USB) Do you have the same behavior for any other usb devices or just for iPhone? If you have the same behavior for any other usb devices, probably you use "Connect it to the active virtual machine". Just select other mode. If have such behavior only with iPhone and you use "Ask me what to do", probably you have a "Permanent assingnment" for iPhone. Just delete this assignment.
