The Windows dock folder is nice but it is completely unsorted. Is there a way to do this? Ideally it would be sorted as Windows is itself. If not, then the same way "Sort by Name" works on the start menu folders in Windows. Folders on top, sorted by name, and then files on the bottom, sorted by name. Really happy with 5.0
Since I've never used a stack in List mode I didn't realize you could Sort it on the menu. That said it only sorts the main menu and not the sub menus... Any help?
"Windows Applications" folder in Dock is exactly like native "Applications" folder that you can see in Dock after fresh Mac OS X install (or you can put it there by dragging it from Finder and dropping in the right side of the Dock). You can customize it's view and sorting like any other folder in Dock (called Stacks sometimes) by right-clicking it.
that's too bad. I guess it is an OSX bug because sub folders aren't sorted the way the main list/stack is set. Thanks for the reply.
