Why won't Parallels post directions on how to resolve the screen issue in Ubuntu 8.10? All I can get is one size screen, and if I try to resize it by dragging the corner of the window, a large black border expands around the Ubuntu desktop, the desktop itself doesn't resize as does the Windows XP VM I have. I see numerous posts about this, and NOBODY from Parallels responds. I sent in a help ticket, and nobody responded. Would you rather have us buy VM Fusion?

You might want to try expanding the amount of memory available for the video driver of the VM first. It defaults to 2 or 3MB. Try 16MB. Then reboot the virtual machine. Once the virtual machine reboots. Run the following command from the command line...

    sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

After running the command, you can change the resolution through Ubuntu's screen resolution utility

    PD5 breaks Ubuntu

The new PD release breaks Ubuntu support completely. I had to uninstall the tools. :(
