Hi folks, I just upgraded to Destop for Mac V. 5 from V. 4. V. 4 worked just fine. If I start my virtual machine (Windows XP) under V.5 the start-up process ends up with a blue screen with an "Bad IRQL" error message. Attached you can find the message. Is there a fix or something wrong with my configuration? I have got a MacBook 2,2 GHz (2008) with 2 GB RAM. Regards Joerg
Same here, and it's a HUGE PROBLEM for me I've got the same Bad IRQL message, and a different but similar message when I try to start up in Safe Mode.
Same problem I just upgraded to Parallels 5, and I'm getting a blue screen with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. The VM (XP Pro SP3) worked fine under Parallels 4. An Ubuntu 9.10 VM works fine under Parallels 5 on the same machine. I'm running a MacBook Pro 5,3 with 10.6.1, 2.8GHz processor and 512MB 9600M GT.
