Installed parallels and want to use bootcamp xp as bootable disk but when I run parallels there is no option for using bootcamp. The options are Windows Express, Typical, and Custom. In the user guide on using bootcamp there is different options on the OS Installatioon Assistant.....Create a new hard disk image, Use an existing hard disk image, use bootcamp, and do not add any hard disk.

    Am I skipping a step?

I think that means your windows xp key as you may have to reactivate win xp when you install parallels over boot camp
