I run Parallels in Coherence mode with the taskbar hidden. I occasionally use Remote Desktop to connect to the virtual machine and don't have a taskbar. Is there any way to show/hide the Windows taskbar from within the Windows virtual machine?
Hello Joseph, You will be able to show/Hide Windows Taskbar by going through 'Applications' on the top Parallels Desktop menu bar while you are in coherence mode and choosing ' show Windows Taskbar'/'Hide Windows Taskbar'. Thank you.
I am looking for a way to do this while using windows remote desktop connected directly to the windows virtual machine when I do not have access to the host. For example, when I am at work and my mac is at home. Sure , I could use a VNC client to connect to the mac but rdp is so much more responsive. I would like to have a shortcut on my windows virtual machine to show/hide the taskbar.
