I have four monitors, with the following resolutions:

    1920 x 1200
    1280 x 1024
    1600 x 1200
    1280 x 1024

When I enable Coherence, I get an error message like this:

I have already created a resolution of 6080x1200 within Parallels, hoping that would fix it, but it didn't.

    How do I resolve?

    Thanks,

    Toine

Are you sure your first and third screens are 1200 high? It's usually 1280. And doesn't the full area need to be 6060 wide, not 6080?

    Nope, really 1200. And, according to me: 1920 + 1280 + 1280 + 1600 = 6080

OK. Sorry, I missed the '20' in 1920

Here's something "odd" to try. Parallels/View/Coherence and then DE-select "Exclude Dock". See what affect that has on the dimensions of your extended Desktop.

I don't have "Exclude Dock" checked... but I'll try it with it checked.

ETA: Does not make a difference.

this is on our wish list

it will need a new or modifeid video driver in parallels tools to emulate dualview

    >> Dualview is a feature in Windows XP similar to multiple monitors. Most laptops include a port to which you can connect a second monitor, and Dualview allows you to expand your display across both. <<

so patience and make a request on the wish list please

    Hear hear!

Just thought I'd add some support for this thread. I can't get it to work correctly either with dual monitors - when I unplug one of my monitors, it works fine.

Loving what you guys are doing Parallels! Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the fix!
