I am very new to the Mac as well as the Parallels program and am becoming increasingly frustrated! All I am trying to do is restore some data from a flash drive to Quickbooks on the Guest OS Windows Vista. I can see the flash drive everywhere except in the My Computer where it should be for me to select either backup or restore from. Any help to this newbie would be greatly appreciated!
Hello Judy, After you connect the USB drive, can you please go up to Parallels Desktop menu bar and click on Devices -> USB and choose the USB drive name and make sure that you have a check mark besides that. Now you will be able to access the USB in Windows and if you want the same USB to be detected under Mac just carry out the same steps and uncheck the USB. Thank you.
