Hello I installed Parallel to my MacBook (OS version 10.4.11) simply to use windows programs not accessible to Mac for a computer class. I tried Boot Camp before hand to install windows (vista) on another computer (which had the Leopard operating system) but could not use it due to trouble with internet connection. After trying about everything I had read online and everything I could search through the computer and guess at, I looked for a new way of using windows applications, which brought me to parallel. After installing parallel, and then installing windows (vista) again, I ran into the same exact problems. I have a wireless ethernet airport base station, which works for all my macs. I really don't know whats going wrong. Ive read about problems other people have had only on XP, but when using Vista it was a simple matter of going to the Control Panel and pressing a few buttons. Anyway, my windows part of the computer keeps telling me it cant find any networking hardware. Does that mean in my computer? Or networking hardware as in my airport base station? It just cant seem to locate any of the networks around me. And what exactly is the ISP? And the ISP number and the ISP password? All I know of are the name and password of my airport. Please, if anybody can help. Thank you.
Perhaps re-installing ot the Parallel Tools (via Parallels menu, in the up&running Vista) may help ? Cheers, Bernie
