Installed Parallels on my MBP with W2K. All working good but no support for IE7 so I upgraded to XP. Now any attempt to use coherence causes the whole thing to freeze (spinning beachball). Also, under W2K, I could move the mouse pointer freely between the windows and mac desktops so I could drag and drop files between the two. Now I can't do that either. Reinstall time?

    Thanx

Sounds like the Parallels tools didn't install, or didn't finish installing. In XP's control panel see if the tools installed. If so remove them, the use the Parallels Action->Install Parallels Tools menu to re-install them.

That seems to have done the trick. The folder was not in evidence in the windows control panel but it was in the applications folder. Removed and reinstalled and everything seems good. Different tools for XP?

    Thanx
