Mapping external drive

I have installed the latest version of Parallels. And I installed my license of Windows XP and it's running just fine.

I just can't figure out how to get the "PC" to see any Mac folder or the external hard drive connected to my Mac. I tried connecting the drive via USB and Firewire 800.

I don't think it's gonna work because of how the external is drive formatted (Mac OS Extended (Journaled)). Am I wrong?

Any ideas?

To share your mac drives with windows go to the virtual machine configuration and click on Shared Folder and enable the shared folder to use all disks. Click on the link below to know where exactly you need to be.

I got the drive mapped. I had to install the tools.
