I think I've screwed up something to do with the Windows graphics driver when installing the latest beta. I was installing the Parallels Tools and there was a crash and I couldn't complete that. Now, Windows does seem to start OK, but all I get is a black screen for the virtual Windows machine. Is there any way I can boot Windows into safe mode to allow me to reinstall Parallels Tools?

Thanks for any help you could offer.

To load in safe mode put F8 when system is loading. If you have MacBook and MacBookPro keyboard, you must put FN+F8 instead of F8.

    Thanks - the FN+F8 worked.

XP safe mode boot Fn-F8 not working for me

I tried with and w/o Fn and could not get my MBP to boot in safe mode for XP. Any other advice?

    Thanks!

You have to hold Fn+F8 down while the system boots.
