    Hi All,

I've got a problem using Parallels. I'm in Brazil now and I'm running a trial version of Parallels 4.0. I would like to use a USB internet modem I bought here with a provider but it doesn't work.

The normal process should go like this:
    - insert the USB modem and it will automatically install the drivers and the program required to run with the USB Modem.

I tried this on a couple of windows computers and it works without any problems.

When I insert it in my mac it doesn't recognize it or just showes the memory space there is on the USB card inside the modem. I then click on my virtual machine and it asks me if I want to use this USB device for mac or for my VM. I click virtual machine and then it detects the new stick, and it asks me if I want to search for drivers. Then I click search and nothing happens. It can't find anything. Normally a program should start and run but nothing happens..

I hope anyone can find a solution.

    Please help...

    BR,
    Randy

You can try searching for the appropriate driver on the modem manufacturer's internet page (or just search for it) from the Mac side. Then just copy the driver to the virtual machine and try installing it.
