Just got done installing Parallels 4. I am extremely unhappy. 1. Somehow my boot camp installation has been ruined. The mouse and keyboard are unresponsive when booting into boot camp except ctrl, alt, delete, enter, arrows and tabs. Mouse and letter keys do not work. Any ideas on how to fix this? 2. When running Parallels, none of the boot camp drivers work. No wi-fi, left click, etc. Parallels seems to work otherwise, but I cannot connect to the internet. I am on a a trip, so I cannot easily reinstall Windows, etc. which requires disks I do not have with me. Any suggestions to restore Windows functionality would be appreciated.
Hello, Please boot into the bootcamp partition and then click on Start -> Run -> and type regedit in the text box. Hit OK. In Registry Editor, go to My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Parallels and delete the "Parallels Tools" entry. Now, boot into Mac. Start Parallels Desktop and reinstall Parallels Tools.
Well, that might be helpful except that as I mentioned in the post above, MY TRACKPAD IS DISABLED WHEN I AM IN BOOTCAMP. Therefore I find it impossible to Start-> Run -> anything.
