    Hi There

I have recently noticed that when I try to connect some of my USB items they show up in Mac OS and in the list in the devices menu but when I select them from this menu the guest OS (Windows XP) doesnt find them in the device manager as it has done before.

Devices that seem to do this so far are all

Crown XTI amplifiers (they have a USB software link on them to control them over USB)
and a Chamsys Magic Q PC Wing (found at www.chamsys.co.uk)

I have had the XTI Amp working on parralells before and I am sure I have had the Magic Q PC Wing working too.

It seems that even with parallels set to auto connect USB devices these do not appear in my VM OS.

    Please help

Also having this trouble using Parallels Desktop 3.0 (build 5638).

There is a Sony RM-AX4000 remote control which definitely used to link up and be useable by its editor program.
Now it is selectable in the Parallels USB device pull-down, but doesn't show up as hardware in Windows XP, the guest OS.

The device is controlled by the USBConnect kext on the Mac side (version 3.0.0). And does appear in the pull-down, just won't show up as hardware.

I assume this must have to do with the USB hub emulator under windows, as it is talking to this driver on the Mac side.

    Anyone have workarounds or suggestions?

    thanks,
    Peter
