Hi - I am not sure if this is a problem or just a feature enhancement request, but I have st my default mail app in the Parallels VM config under Internet Applications to the Mac Mail.app. That works fine. However, when I go into Windows and use the "Send file to mail recipient as attachment" (either from within Office or from the windows explorer), it still tried to send it through Outlook. I believe that is because setting this does NOT also change the default mail client in Windows (as evidenced by the setting in the Internet Properties in windows). Parallels should also register the various mac internet applications with windows so they are available as selections in the internet properties control panel, no? Thanks. -- V
I completely agree. I use Quickbooks in Windows and would like to send invoices via Apple Mail but Windows insists on opening in Outlook and so I have to save as a PDF and open them in Apple Mail. If you guys could get Windows to use Mail as the default mail app then I would greatly appreciate it.
