I do development using VS2005 on Windows XP in a VM and often copy the build output to my USB pen drive by dragging the files form Explorer to my USB pen mounted under OS X, to the same folder. There are about 50 files and the copy dialog prompts for replace for each file.

Please can a 'Replace All' option be added so I don't have to remember to empty the folder in OS X before dragging the files from the VM?

    Cheers

Windows explorer features would be a Microsoft issue, so you might want to ask them for the feature.

Windows Explorer already has replace all. This is the feature Parallels added where you can drag and drop files from windows explorer to finder windows. It is an OS X window that pops up as part of Parallels, not a Windows window.

It is most definitely a Parallels thing, not a Microsoft thing.

I can mount flash drives under the VM. Does that work for you?

Yes it does but that is extra effort. The drive mounts under OS X as soon as it is plugged in. Parallels added the functionality to drag and drop files from the VM to OS X (i.e. straight to the flash drive). If the files already exist on the flash drive, Parallels prompts you to replace them, but it prompts you for each file. All I'm asking is they add another button on that dialog to replace all.

There are other ways to do this, but they added the drag/drop ability to increase usability. For me, this would make that piece of functionality even more useful.

    Cheers
