I have a strange problem with my guest OS (Windows XP). I have mapped network drives to my host OS (Mac 10.5.7 Leopard) which take 30-45 seconds to open. The thing that is strange, though, is that when I turn off both of my internet connections (airport and ethernet), the delay is gone and I can access my mapped network drives immediately. Also, the same thing happens when I use Shared folders. Any ideas?
Quit your virus scanner or disable network scanning. I had this issue with Kaspersky enabled. -- Harald
