I installed Win 7 x64 (build 7000 blah blah blah) using PDM 4.0 3810 (trial version) on a Macbook Pro (3,1) with OS X 10.5.6 (4GB ram, 32GB partition). On the surface everything seems to work OK but on closer examiniation a couple of things are whack. 1) Items that I pin to the taskbar disappear each time i restart the VM. 2) Sound doesnt work properly. I followed another post's suggestion and disabled 3D, installed Realtek AC97 drivers (from realtek) and then entered the mixer setttings and changed to digital output. When i make this change the sound changes from obviously distorted to maybe sounds ok. However, each time i restart the machine the setting reverts back to the analog output (ie, it doesnt retain settings as in point 1 above) Any ideas on how to correct this? km
Taskbar problem with Win 7 x64 and PDM 4.0 3810 One more thing. The Win7 x64 taskbar is inaccessible when an application window is maximized. Is this a Win7 issue or a PDM issue? Is there a fix? I saw this reported elsewhere here but havent seen any response. km

I'm on the 32 bit RC1 Windows 7 and I also loose items that I pin to the taskbar after every restart. Rather odd.
