I am using Parralels 4.0 and windows XP sp3. I run Safari in Mac mode and office 2007 in xp mode. When I copy text out of Safari and past it into word I loose all opf the html format in the Safari web page. Since I use salesforce this can be a pain. Any ideas on how I can keep the format in copy and paste? Tom
Does it work when dumping it into TextEdit on the Mac side first? I have had issues crossing the OS border myself - copying text from Microsoft Streets and Trips (in the VM) to Word 2008 (Mac) results in random garbage characters at the end. You may have 2 ways to work around this otherwise - either use Internet Exploiter (or other browser) in the VM or save the pasted information into a text file and pull into the VM via shared folders.
I am currently using IM expoder on the VM side. It is just a pain because many of my sites require log in and Keychain does not work in the VM world. It is not insumoumntable but just a pain in the A__. I use spaces a bunch and it would be so much easier to one click back and forth. Oh well!!! Another great idea mired in undocumented features Tom
