I just installed Parallels 3 on my iMac and imported a VMWare Fusion drive image. However, I can't get past the screen that asks me to activate Windows (so I cannot get into Windows at all), because my mouse will not work. I can't even hit the keyboard RETURN to accept the activation. I'm getting extremely frustrated, so if anyone can help me, I would appreciate it. I am considering the upgrade to version 4, but don't want to do that until I can get this problem resolved.
It looks like you have a driver conflict. Did you uninstall VMWare tools from the virtual machine prior to importing it to Parallels? It is important to do that.
I tried that, and it didn't help. I even uninstalled Fusion, and I still cannot get the mouse to work.
