Community, I'm new to Parallels and I just loaded it on my Mac. I'm using Vista Business as my Windows OS. With the initial setup, I acknowledge expandable disk space, but I'm getting an error message stating I'm running low on disk space. I check and the image drive is at 32GB expandable, yet I'm still getting this error. What do I do to take advantage of the 160GB of space I have available? I can't load software any longer because of this problem. Your help is greatly appreciated. CharlesW
Start Parallels. One's your vm is started up choose "Virtual Machine" in menu above. There you will find "Run Parallels Compressor". This tool will schrink your virtual hard disk. It will take some time but should solve your problem.
Thanks Thank you for your solution. While I was implementing your suggestion, I ran into Parallels Image Tool, which allowed me to increase (or decrease) the size of my desk image. Thank you once again, for your suggestion. CharlesW
You're getting the low disk space inside Windows or is it a message from the Parallels application? What's is the free space stated inside Windows and what's the free space in OSX?
