I'm running v.4 at the moment. When I tried to upgrade to service pack 3 via windows update, Windows tells me that I can't not complete the update on battery power when my Mac is already plugged in. Can anyone help? Thanks.

    Hello,

Can you please clarify if theVirtual Machine is not based on Boot Camp.

In case it is Boot Camp Virtual Machine you shoudl install SP3 directly under Boot Camp.
    Please check the following article:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950717

Also please disable all antivirus software installed in Virtual machine.

If that does not help please provide us with screenshot of the error message.

By some luck, when I unplugged and plugged in the laptop the SP3 now recognized that the AC power was on and proceeded to complete the installation. So, thanks.

Windows thinks its on battery preventing SP3 to install

I can not get the VM to see the ac plug.
