I have been having troubles stated in the thread description for over two months now.

I've checked my MacBook with all tools available and found that hardware is OK (at least to the level it can be tested by utilities provided on Mac Utilities DVD).

Never the less I still have my MacBook crash under conditions described above...

Here is a link to apple forums with general description of my problem and a bunch of kernel panic reports i've posted after booting my Mac after the crash: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1997145&tstart=0

    Ideas anyone?

    Thanks!
    Mike

I forgot to mention that kernel panics never ever happen without virtual machine running.

And I just had another crash. Here is the report:

How often you use Parallels Desktop/VMWare? Is there a possibility that you don't observe KPs while your virtualization software is not running because you run it constantly? Still it can be a hardware problem...

I would suggest you to try a fresh Mac OS install (you can backup your data and restore it later on)

On weekends I do not run virtualization software and do not crash - ever. And yes i am using photoshop and other software that loads CPU and RAM heavily on weekends - no crashes.

Yesterday i did disk repair and permissions repair as well as an extended diagnostics from the Mac OS applications DVD utility. Yet again - i have done this before - no hardware errors.

Fresh install wont help - done it.

    Any ideas?

Are you using any non Apple hardware (that require the installation of drivers on OSX that weren't wrtten by Apple)?

No - not using anything like that.

Fusion has to be closed completely before starting Parallels and vice versa. Otherwise you'll run into a kernel panic. That's what I see in your logs posted to the Apple forum. Same situation here on a Mac Pro with Parallels 3.0. IMHO this can be the prob with P4 too.
