I already have bootcmap with XP sp3 on it, can Parallels use it as is?

    Hi there,

    I had a quick search but didn't find many answers on this question, ie...

    I already have bootcmap with XP sp3 on it, can Parallels use it as is?

    ie do i have to reinstall XP all over again using Parallels?

    Hello pancreasboy,

    Yes you may create Virtual machine based on Boot Camp.

    Please install Parallels Desktop. Start Parallels Desktop ->File -> New Virtual Machine ->
    Operating System Detection -> Continue ->
    Type - windows and Version -> Windows XP ->
    Custom installation -> default setting or setting as you wish -> continue
    Hard disk options-> Boot Camp Partition
