Hey, I've installed Windows 7 (64-BIT) on Boot Camp, it works great.

How can I add that to Parallels 4.0 now safely, I read in the help documentation if it's not Vista or XP it can damage it.
So, is it safe for me to do that, and what effects does it have? it should run exactly the same right? (Apart from the graphic limitations)

    Kind Regards

    Hello,

In case you wish to run Virtual Machine based on Boot Camp ->

Start Parallels Desktop -> File -> New Virtual Machine ->
Operating System Detection -> Continue ->
Type - windows and Version -> Windows Vista ->
Custom installation -> default setting or setting as you wish -> continue
Hard disk options-> Boot Camp Partition

You will have the same virtual machine (with same documnta/applications) indeed there is graphic limitation (Parallels Desktop has not had support Aero yet)

I see, so to link Parallels to the boot camp partition, I should choose Windows Vista when creating new VM?

    Kind Regards
