    Hi!
I have just installed Parallels Desktop but I have some questions about its configuration.
    I have a Macbook Pro 2.4Ghz / 2Gb ram with its two videocards ( Nvidia 9400/9600GT).
Here are the 2 questions :
    1) In the memory configuration , the optimal size for memory is 512Mb. Since I use Photoshop and others "heavy" apps, I need more ram , so can I go up to 1024Mb for example ? or will it have bad effects on my computer ?
    2) Same for video memory : can I put 256Mb instead of the 128Mb recommended size ?
I just want to know this, and surely don't want to have troubles because of this !
    Thanks.

    Hello AliceC,

If you have 2 Gb of Ram I would recommend you to increase a bit Ram for your Virtual Machine, or set it to 1 GB as maximum, as it can slow down your Mac

the same thing with Video, it is better to play with setting after that you will be able to choose the setting which are preferable for you.

    Hey gallochka.
Thank you for your quick answer !
So there's no chance to cause material problems on my macbook if I set to 256 Mb for the video memory ?
