Hi. I'm finding that Parallels is running out of disk space, I run Windows XP off the Boot Camp partition via a virtual machine. I don't want to remove the Boot Camp partition, but I do want to increase the amount of disk space Parallels allocates to the virtual machine: a hopeless task, or at least I think it is! I've tried to reconfigure my system: instead of a virtual machine I'd like Parallels to run straight off the Boot Camp partition, but I don't understand the procedure. At some point I'm asked to manually continue the reconfiguration, but the instructions aren't clear to me. I'll try again, but if anyone has a quick solution I'd appreciate it.
Daer linovari, Can you please clarify: Are you running Virtual Machine based on Boot Camp (is it correct?) In this case if there are few disk space please contact apple suppor, as you cannot use any Parallels Desktop Tools to performed it. If the virtual machine is based on Boot Camp Paralles only use the use the settings of Boot Camp partition and it is not allowed to change them. If you are using Virtual Machine separately from Boot Camp you may use Image Tool and Parallels Compressor tools. More information you may find: http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/pd40_docs/
