I don't have a clue how to use parallels

Hello i've been trying to get parallels to work for a few days now and just don't know what i am doing. I've installed parallels but can't get it to boot up. I've read other forums and and keep on seeing something about running it with a windows installer cd that came with the computer, but why would i have a windows cd if i have a mac. So i've been trying it with the mac os x installer cd and it still doesn't work really not sure whats going on some help would be appreciated thank you.

 

If you want to run Windows in Parallels, on a Mac, you need a Windows operating system disk to install.
