    I already had KAV2009 on P3 when I upgraded to P4

I assumed that the install procedure for P4 would either overwrite my KAV with yours, or would spot that KAV was already installed and would ignore it.

However, I am getting reminders periodically to install KAV.

    What should I do?

Should I wait until my current subscription runs out and then install yours?

Will yours find all the resources, logs, etc and simply take them over, or will it start from scratch?

    Hello,

Regarding Kaspersky installation, you can wait until the current subscription runs out and uninstall it.
Then you need to install this kaspersky security which is included with Parallels, because this contains a unique activation key which has a free complimentary period of 1 year from the date of installation.

After that you can continue the subscription as you were doing before.

    Thank you.

    thanks you Bopanna, very useful.

Is there any way to stop your KAV reminder popping up?

    Hello,

Whenever you receive the message, you will have a check box option in the pop up as to "Do not show this message again" . You can check that box and the message will not pop up again.

    Thank you.

thanks bopanna - I guess I was scared to do it because I didn;t know what the agreement & security implication were.

    Now I know,
