So I'm getting this message "Microsoft Windows XP.pvs seems to be not a valid Parallels virtual machine configuration file!", and I've searched the forum, only to find I can't make heads or tails of the suggestions, and am completely stuck. Anyone able to explain to me in English, how I an fix this? Thanks so much!

    Matt McCarthy,

I would recommend creating a new VM based on you old .hdd file. Is this Parallels Desktop 3 or 4?
