Has anyone found a Mac-based antiviral solution that does a fair job of assessing and cleaning an attached windows volume. Seeking actual experience here. Communicated with Intego today:

VirusBarrier is not designed to scan Windows volumes. It can detect Windows viruses on a Mac OS X drive, but it is not designed for use with Windows.

from their tech support, so that stinks. I would think the signatures are the same within a file, but apparently not.

An alternative is to run from a non-infected VM like a Parallels installation, where the VM could be duplicated before running it to insure no nasty infections from my 'boot' vm, and accessible volumes could be locked down easily, so that the suspect drive could be cleansed.

Again, anyone with some 1st person experience?

    After Hours,

I would recommend using Parallels Internet Security (powered by Kaspersky) on the VM side instead.
